IACIT, a Brazilian company active in the development of high technology products and services, got CMMI Maturity Level 3 certification for version 2.0, was a partner of the CMMI Institute, and was evaluated using the CMMI Benchmark model.
With the CMMI Institute's maturity assessment, IACIT's Project Board had the opportunity to restructure processes, which became leaner and more robust, ensuring technical consistency at all stages of project development.
“When we reevalueted the internal processes, we restructured the engineering project area and guarantee the quality and satefy execution of each step of each project.” says Project Director Gustavo Hissi Castro.
The certification attests to the high degree of quality in the processes and systems developed by the company, and also that the best practices are fully executed in the departments of Software Production Engineering (EPS) and Engineering Research, Development and Innovation (EPDI).
CMMI is an important and internationally recognized certification for the hardware and software engineering industry, which attests to the degree of evolution an organization is in at the moment, and one of its main goals is the production of higher quality software and less error prone.
With exclusive Software Production Engineering (EPS) and Research Engineering, Development and Innovation (EPDI) departments that work in the design and evolution of systems, IACIT customers are now even more assured of quality and efficiency in the products and services provided.
